Privacy Policy and Personal Data Processing Principles

These Privacy Policy principles set out how your personal data is used and protected when you provide it to us in connection with the use of our services, participation in our activities or programs, support of our operations, or use of the website www.skolajachtingu.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

We collect, store, and process personal data that enables us to provide high-quality services to our clients. Personal data is also collected for the purpose of obtaining financial resources and developing our activities.

How We Obtain Your Personal Data

In general, we collect and obtain personal data directly from you as a result of your interaction with us, your use of our services, or your participation in and support of our activities, in particular when:

  • using the services of Škola jachtingu s.r.o. (sports activities, operation of small vessels, rental services, operation of sports and recreational facilities, out-of-school educational activities, organization of sports, cultural and other social events);
  • expressing interest in employment or volunteering with us (e.g. by submitting a CV);
  • subscribing to our electronic newsletter.

Technical data may also be collected through your visit to the Website, as described below in the section Technical Data and Website Visit Information.

Please note that refusing to provide personal data in cases where it is necessary for entering into or performing a contract between us, or where we are legally required to process your data, may result in the inability to establish a contractual relationship or provide the requested service.

Personal data is processed either electronically (automated) or in printed form (manual) by Škola jachtingu s.r.o. personnel.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss, destruction, unauthorized access, alteration, or dissemination of data.
Employees and volunteers are trained to handle personal data safely and confidentially and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
All documents are stored in locked cabinets, and premises are physically secured.

Recipients of Personal Data

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties except our accounting company A.D.P. Accounting, s.r.o.; persons cooperating with us on organizing events under valid business licenses; possible external IT administrators or service technicians.

We may use online service providers such as Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation, Brevo (Sendinblue) (previously Mailchimp), and Meta for data processing or communication.
These companies may be located in the USA and are registered under the EU–US Privacy Shield Framework, meaning such transfers do not require special authorization. (https://www.privacyshield.gov)

Access by third parties will always be governed by legal requirements and appropriate safeguards.

  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – in particular when data is no longer necessary for the purposes collected.
  • Right to restriction of processing – e.g. if you contest accuracy or object to processing.

Right to object – to processing based on legitimate interest for reasons relating to your specific situation.
In such cases, processing will cease unless there are compelling legitimate grounds or legal claims to defend.
