Jabuka Race: a night start and 100 miles of open Adriatic

Close the season in style at this legendary offshore race. A spectacular night start and an intense 100 nautical miles in the demanding conditions of the open Adriatic. The crew is put together for intermediate and experienced sailors – you will also work on offshore strategy and weather routing. Our skippers race it regularly and have brought home several trophies.

Course information

We are not here to win, we are here to learn how to race

You do not come along as ballast that pulls a rope when told. You are part of a team that trims the boat, reads the wind, plans the start and decides the strategy – and the instructor works through all of it with you, from the pre-start routine to the debrief after the finish. We do bring home good results, but that is not the point: the point is that you leave with skills you will use on every passage afterwards. It is a training sail that happens to start with a gun.
