The RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Theory course is designed to give you the confidence and knowledge needed to plan longer passages, leading you to tranquil anchorages and distant landscapes. This course builds on RYA Day Skipper Theory and further develops all the essential skills a competent skipper must master, including navigation, meteorology, tidal calculations, pilotage, passage planning, electronic navigation techniques, and much more. This course is almost essential for candidates preparing for the Yachtmaster exam.
