Standard RYA practical courses for female crew only.
There are a variety of reasons why you might consider partaking in a ladies-only week on the water. Perhaps you feel that your male counterpart is not always the best person to learn from? Perhaps you have been sailing with a male crew who just aren’t giving you a chance? Or maybe you are well overdue for a break away from the husband and family and would like the chance to meet new people with similar interests? Whatever the reason, our ladies-only courses will help to build your skills and confidence in a relaxed and friendly environment under the guidance of a lady instructor.
You can choose one of the following courses: RYA Competent Crew or RYA Day Skipper, refresher and mile-building courses. Please see the respective pages for these courses for further details.
Prices, course content and other conditions are the same as for standard courses.

Winter courses on Canaries
In NYS we believe that there’s no such a thing as winter in sailing and you can always find a good place to enjoy your hobby any time throught the year. So we started a cooperation with another RYA Training Center - Canary sail, which will be running all the RYA scheme on this beautiful archipelago for you.
RYA Sailing Accreditation Rated as the World’s Best
The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) sailing qualifications have been voted the premiere sailing accreditation for excellence and global reputation following a recent survey targeting 200 professional yacht and motorboat charter companies. The professional charter companies that were surveyed own and manage in excess of 6,000 charter boats across the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Asia.
